'89er Trails
The '89er Trail consists of 28 historical markers placed where the events took place that helped create the City of Oklahoma City, from the attempts of the Boomers to settle in the Unassigned Lands to the election of the City's first mayor on August 9, 1890.
Due to construction in the downtown area, markers 22 and 23 are currently not on the ground. As construction in these areas complete, the markers will be added to the Oklahoma City landscape.
